Would highly recommend this company. From our first phone call to speak with a real person to the actual install, everything was seamless. Mike was here in 2 days and the process was completed 2days later. The guys arrived promptly and were all highly knowledgeable and sooo hard working. We had a larger unit installed with three heads. Their work was impeccable and what a great team. An absolute pleasure to have in our home. There was no mess left behind and they answered all our questions. We are thoroughly pleased with the end result. This company is a well oiled machine.

We had a ductless heat pump with 3 internal heads installed June 2023, so we were due for our annual service / cleaning as part of our warranty agreement. Shines did our install. Benjamin was our tech may 28/26. He showed up within the window suggested. Polite & very efficient with doing the necessary checks/work. No issues whatsoever so ever. Would definitely recommend. I was very impressed with my mini-split heat pump installation today with Shines Energy. From the very first call, the service was excellent. A Home Comfort Advisor, Liam, was booked to come out the same day, and I even received a text when he was on his way. He provided a clear quote and available installation dates.
Once the install was scheduled, I received another confirmation text. Simon arrived the next day to check that all electrical work was at code.
On installation day, during heavy snow, Connor and his apprentice Andrew arrived on time at 8:00 a.m.and didn't waste any time going straight to work. Connor was outstanding — very polite, knowledgeable, and extremely efficient. He quickly and skillfully installed the two indoor units and also handled all the necessary outdoor work to successfully complete the installation. Everything was done with confidence and professionalism.
When the installation was complete, Connor took the time to carefully walk me through how to operate the new heat pump so I could get the best performance from it. That extra effort was greatly appreciated.

The young fellow that came to clean my heat pumps was very informative. Taught me a few things about them and he was very friendly and courteous. He arrived on time, was friendly, considerate and understanding. He got to work, kept me informed about his findings and actions, and in a short time my heat was working well. Furthermore, he answered all my questions and provided information to help me maintain my unit going forward. The cost of the service call was surprisingly reasonable. Kishan is a very nice, friendly, professional and honest technician. I thought I needed all 3 of my heat pump heads cleaned but Kishan said one of them was already clean so he saved me some money! He answered all of my questions and gave me great advice on filter cleaning and preventative maintenance. A much better experience than I've had with other heat pump cleaning companies. Kishan's love of dogs (including my dog) was a bonus! I will definitely call Shines again next time and will ask for Kishan!

Mason arrived at my house and was friendly and professional. He immediately got to work and was very thorough. He serviced my heat pump and checked inside and outside to make sure that everything was working right. He discovered that the furnace was very dirty and got to work cleaning that. He took pictures of the before, & after to show me how clean it now was. Mason provided me with a report of the furnace as well. Mason is an excellent technician. Hired Shines Energy to install minisplits at my home. The process was very smooth and professional from start to finish. Their sales team was fair, their customer service was responsive, and both the electricians and the installers were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They even humoured me when I wasn't sure the indoor heads were level (they were). A supervisor also stopped in to do a quick QA before the job wrapped up.
They had financing available through their partners at generous terms. I also learned through chatting with the guys that everyone at Shines is an employee, rather than subcontractors, so you can rest assured that the people they send are invested in the success of the install. I was very nervous to have this fairly significant work done, but the Shines team made it easy.

I had been unable to find a company which would clean the cassette head but the guys did today and they were fantastic! They were very efficient and did a wonderful job that was quite labor intensive. I am sorry happy I found Shines Energy and they will ge my go to for all my heat pump needs.
